Artem Lobov is a Russian mixed martial artist and former fighter in the featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship who has most recently competed in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. A professional competitor since 2010, he was a cast member of The Ultimate Fighter: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber.
Lobov was coached and trained by THE Conor McGregor himself. As you may have seen already, Malignaggi and Lobov have been involved in a heated uproar online and in the media over the last few months. The pair clashed at a media event few weeks back, as the Italian- American slapped his Russian rival when they came face to face. Their feud stems back to Malignaggi’s previous clashes with Conor McGregor, who is Artem’s friend and team-mate.
Artem Lobov and Paulie Malignaggi will settle their beef inside of the ring on June 22 in a bare knuckle boxing grudge match. It will be an entertaining matchup between a former UFC brawler and a former boxing world champion, which is something combat fans have never seen before.
